SpecialtyAutomated
designs and manufactures the complete line of Automatic Clock
Drawing Tests ™. It is the only company exclusively dedicated to
off-the-shelf and custom screening tests and systems for vision,
knowledge, and skills. Our selection of these products and systems is
the largest of its kind in the world. The need for safety and
security in the transportation sector is limitless. According to
recent government publications, no automated screening systems exist
in any transportation agency
1.
Mandatory cognition screening is
considered, especially in some U.S. states following a devastating
crash involving an elderly driver. However, since cognitive
impairment can occur at any age, then all drivers should be required
to take an automated cognition test, such as the Automatic Clock
Drawing Test, as part of a test to obtain or maintain a driver's
license.
Recent studies show that
over the next 20 years, dementia is expected to increase 400%. These
individuals, once identified, may continue to operate vehicles and
carry out daily activities. However, many physicians and medical
practitioners are either unqualified or understaffed to make such
determinations.
Older drivers, teen
drivers, and novice drivers constitute a disproportionate number of
at-fault collisions. Adequate screening is now direly needed to
reduce thousands of fatalities and injuries and millions of collisions
each year.
As larger and heavier trucks continue
to populate the nation’s roads, there is also a greater need to
comprehensively screen truckers and other commercial carriers, among
others, for driver’s license tests.
SpecialtyAutomated
offers specially designed proprietary products and systems to screen
commercial drivers.
Our
model is simple. It’s based on distinct
patents-pending inventions
nominated by the
U.S. Department of Transportation
for a prestigious award through the
Federal Highway Administration
and extensively
published in numerous government reports. Many Departments of Motor Vehicles (DMV) rely on
these publications for driver’s license test design, policy
development, and product evaluation. The
Secretary of State for Transport’s
Honorary Medical Advisory Panel on Driving and Visual Disorders
of the United Kingdom recently noted one of these publications.
Collectively, these publications cite proprietary and revolutionary
products and systems invented by a member of our executive staff and
recently disseminated through the
National Academy of Sciences.
SpecialtyAutomated
is a totally independent product design and manufacturing firm
dedicated to your best interests in mind. The use of an independent
product design and manufacturing firm can also reduce or eliminate the
need for in-house engineering and support staff. By utilizing our
expertise only when our products are needed (time and expense), there
is a potential for overall cost savings.
Automated tests are
objective, fast, and low-cost. Do long lines and duplicate licenses
plague driver’s license bureaus?
SpecialtyAutomated
products are an immediate solution to growing state, national, and
international problem.
SpecialtyAutomated
anticipates extraordinary growth in the transportation and medical
sectors in the next fifty years as more people seek licenses and live
longer.
Our proprietary products
and systems are available to meet such needs and possibilities.
Numerous inventions,
books, and authoritative government publications are a testament to
our expertise.
